I am an Assistant Professor in CSR, Communication and Organization. My research explores the intra- and inter-organizational dynamics of CSR. Building on institutional and communication perspectives, I currently focus on two main areas.
1. The responsibilities of companies in the contexts of complex societal problems and humanitarian crises. Focusing on dynamics between companies, governments, NGOs, and other societal actors, my research explores how companies negotiate their roles and responsibilites, how they perform them, and to what consequences.
2. The role of internal activists in transforming companies from the inside out. I explore the intra-organizational politics of corporate responsibility by asking how internal activists work and under what organizational conditions they may thrive.
